LIGHT & FORM | A study of ceramics
This series of photographs explores the harmony between form and texture through still lifes focused on handcrafted ceramics. Each piece was carefully illuminated to highlight its material character, seeking a balance between the organic and the sculptural. The main intention was to capture the natural imperfection of clay and emphasize its artistic essence through soft yet contrasted lighting, enhancing the volume of the pieces while preserving the autenticity of each object.
Esta serie de fotografías explora la armonía entre forma y textura a través de bodegones centrados en la cerámica artesanal. Cada pieza fue cuidadosamente iluminada para resaltar su carácter material, buscando un equilibrio entre lo orgánico y lo escultórico. La intención principal fue capturar la imperfección de la arcilla y resaltar su carácter artístico mediante una iluminación técnica suave pero sin perder contraste para favorecer al volumen de las piezas y mantener la autenticidad del objeto.
